Meeting Discussion

Had a meeting yesterday with Nicky where we finalized many decisions. We decided on the final mechanics of the game and the idea of the sunlight powering the fans is no longer an issue. We did many brainstorms and discussed the look that we want our game to have. When I get the brainstorms off nicky I shall up load these.

We decided that our scope really needed to be made smaller and more achievable.

Instead of having different elements that you unlock, we thought it would be better if there was say 5 different fan angles to choose from. This way the player has to choose what fan they feel will be the correct angle to get the seed to the top, to the good land. This means the game will still be challenging but means less decisions theplayer has to make.
Originally the player would have had to choose the angle, power and placement of the fan.

The sunlight issue has been solved. Hard to explain in text how we have done this so I shall wait for our brainstorms to be uploaded.

I am now going to continue with improving my sketches and may start designing the background of the game.

Solution to sunlight - instead of having mirrors that sort of just float.

This way, you’ll have to chose which prism will send the light the right way – which will work a lot better than the sunlight showing you.
