From my sketches these two are my favourites. I feel the one with the droplet as the body is quite cute and certainly appealing, especially to children. With colour added to him he would look even better. He would also work if I went with using the shrivel up idea. His arms and legs would still stay the same but his torso could start shrinking and become deformed.
This little dude is also very appealing. Although he doesnt completely look like a droplet, with colour added I feel it would have a lot more detail and would make it look more like a droplet. He gives of a very friendly feeling even though he has a sort of little creepy body. With the shriveling up idea, he would work really well as I could make just his big droplet head shrink and become angry.
Both of these concepts could work well as a informative, appealing character. I will experiment with different facial expressions in order to make my final choice between them.
